Important Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, processed, stored, disclosed and protected. It does not automatically guarantee that every third-party service provider, vendor, customer, technician, pickup person, logistics provider or other independent party will follow our policies. Where another party independently processes information or provides a service, that party may have separate legal responsibilities. We may take reasonable steps to select, manage, monitor or contract with service providers, but we cannot guarantee the independent conduct of every third party.
Our Role as a Platform / Service Provider
Depending on the particular transaction or service, the Company may act as: a website operator; an enquiry facilitator; a service coordinator; a communication intermediary; a transaction-related service provider; a customer-support provider; or another role expressly described during the relevant transaction. The exact role may differ depending on the service selected by the customer. Where a third party independently performs a service, that third party may remain responsible for its own acts, omissions, personnel, equipment, representations and legal obligations, subject to applicable law and the terms governing the relationship.
Third-Party Vendors and Service Providers
Some services may require independent vendors, pickup partners, logistics providers, technicians, recyclers, contractors or other service providers. Relevant information may be provided to such parties where reasonably necessary to fulfil the requested service. For example, a pickup partner may receive: customer name; contact number; pickup address; AC details; quantity; appointment information; access instructions; and other information reasonably required for the assignment. Third parties receiving such information may be subject to contractual, legal or operational obligations.
Vendor Independence
Where a vendor or service provider independently performs work, the vendor may be responsible for: its personnel; its conduct; its equipment; its transportation; its technical work; its representations; its compliance obligations; its licences or permissions, where required; its handling of property; its employees or subcontractors; and its acts or omissions. Nothing in this Privacy Policy should be interpreted as making the Company responsible for an independent vendor’s unlawful conduct merely because the vendor received a service request through or in connection with the Platform. However, nothing in this clause excludes any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing truthful, accurate and lawful information. You must not: submit false information; misrepresent ownership; offer property that you do not have authority to sell; upload fraudulent documents; use another person’s identity without authorisation; create fake enquiries; manipulate transaction information; misuse promotional offers; attempt payment fraud; provide misleading AC details; or use the Platform for an unlawful purpose. Where appropriate, we may suspend, reject, investigate or terminate an enquiry involving suspected fraud, abuse or unlawful conduct.
Proof of Ownership and Authority
Before accepting or facilitating certain AC-related transactions, we may request information reasonably necessary to establish that the person offering the AC has the authority to sell, hand over or otherwise dispose of the item. This may be particularly relevant for: commercial ACs; multiple AC units; office equipment; institutional property; company-owned equipment; rental-property equipment; property belonging to another person; or high-volume transactions. The Company may request additional documentation or confirmation where reasonably necessary.
Stolen, Disputed or Unlawfully Obtained Property
The Platform must not be used to sell, transfer or arrange collection of stolen, unlawfully obtained or disputed property. If we receive a credible complaint, legal notice, law-enforcement request or other information suggesting that an AC or other property may be stolen; fraudulently obtained; subject to an ownership dispute; subject to a lien or legal restriction; offered without authority; or connected with unlawful activity, we may suspend or place the transaction on hold while the matter is reviewed. Where legally required, information may be shared with the appropriate authorities.
Vendor Fraud and Customer Fraud
We may maintain records and process relevant information to investigate suspected: fake bookings; fake vendors; fake customers; false payment claims; false pickup claims; identity misuse; property theft; price manipulation; payment fraud; misrepresentation; collusion; unauthorised access; abuse of promotional offers; or other fraudulent activity. We may restrict access, suspend accounts, cancel requests or take other appropriate action where reasonably necessary.
Disputes Between Customers and Vendors
Where a customer and an independent vendor, pickup partner or other service provider have a dispute, we may assist with communication or review available records where appropriate. However, the Company is not automatically a party to every dispute merely because communication or a service request occurred through the Platform. We may rely on: booking records; messages; photographs; transaction records; pickup information; digital confirmations; call records where lawfully recorded; vendor submissions; customer submissions; and other relevant evidence. Nothing prevents a customer or vendor from exercising rights available under applicable law.
Evidence and Record Keeping
To protect customers, vendors and the Company, we may retain relevant records for legitimate business, security, dispute-resolution, audit and legal purposes. Records may include: booking details; customer communications; vendor communications; photographs; transaction references; pickup confirmations; cancellation requests; rescheduling requests; complaint records; device and technical information; fraud-related information; and other relevant records. Where legally permissible, such records may be used to investigate disputes or respond to lawful requests.
Photos and AC Evidence
Photographs provided during an AC enquiry may be used to: identify the AC; understand its condition; assess the collection requirement; determine accessibility; support an enquiry; resolve disputes; investigate suspected fraud; or maintain transaction records. Customers should avoid photographing unrelated people, confidential documents, personal identification documents or sensitive information unless specifically required and lawfully requested.
Accuracy of AC Information
Customers and vendors are responsible for providing accurate information about: AC type; brand; model; capacity; quantity; condition; components; installation status; ownership; location; and other relevant details. A preliminary description, photograph or estimate does not necessarily constitute a final inspection or guaranteed valuation. If the actual AC differs materially from the information provided, the final transaction or service arrangement may be affected in accordance with the applicable terms.
Valuation and Market Information
Any indicative price, estimated value or preliminary valuation communicated through the Platform may depend on the information available at that time. Actual value may vary based on: AC condition; components; weight; model; quantity; market conditions; location; collection requirements; and other applicable factors. Unless expressly confirmed otherwise, an indicative amount should not be interpreted as an unconditional guarantee.
Pickup and Physical Access
Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup information and disclosing relevant access restrictions. These may include: floor level; lift availability; stairs; parking restrictions; building security; society rules; restricted entry; narrow access; installation location; outdoor unit accessibility; and other site conditions. Failure to disclose material access conditions may result in delay, rescheduling, additional arrangements or cancellation in accordance with applicable terms.
Installed AC and Dismantling
An installed AC may require specialised handling. Customers should not assume that standard pickup automatically includes: dismantling; electrical disconnection; refrigerant-related work; gas recovery; crane/lifting arrangements; special equipment; wall repair; electrical work; or other technical services. Such services should be confirmed separately where applicable. The Company should not be treated as responsible for work that was not requested, agreed or included in the applicable service arrangement, subject always to applicable law.
Property Damage and Site Conditions
Customers and vendors should take reasonable precautions to protect property during pickup, dismantling or handling. Where a third-party vendor performs physical work, the vendor may be responsible for its personnel and work practices according to the applicable agreement and law. The Company should not be held responsible for damage caused solely by an independent third party where the Company did not itself cause the damage, subject to applicable law and any non-excludable legal responsibility. Customers should promptly report any alleged damage with photographs and relevant details.
Payment Verification
A payment status should be treated as confirmed only through the Company’s designated payment or transaction process. Customers should not rely solely on: screenshots; edited payment receipts; unverified messages; verbal claims; third-party payment confirmations; or unofficial links. Where there is a payment dispute, transaction references and other relevant evidence may be requested.
No UPI PIN or Banking Credentials
The Company will not require customers to disclose confidential credentials such as: UPI PIN; ATM PIN; Card PIN; banking password; internet banking password; card security credentials. Customers should immediately stop communication with anyone requesting such information and verify the request through official channels.
Fraud Investigation
Where fraud or unlawful activity is suspected, we may: temporarily suspend a transaction; restrict account access; request additional information; preserve relevant records; contact affected parties; reject an enquiry; cancel a request; notify appropriate service providers; cooperate with lawful investigations; or report matters to competent authorities where appropriate or legally required. These measures are intended to protect customers, vendors and the Company.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Website may contain links, integrations or references to third-party services. These may include: payment providers; communication platforms; maps; analytics services; social networks; logistics systems; advertising platforms; or other technology providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. The Company does not control the independent privacy or security practices of third parties.
WhatsApp, Calls and Communications
If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, telephone, email or another third-party platform, that communication may also be subject to the third party’s terms. Where permitted by law, communications may be logged or recorded for: customer support; quality control; training; fraud prevention; security; dispute resolution; compliance; or record keeping. We will handle such information in accordance with applicable law and our stated privacy practices.
No Guarantee of Third-Party Conduct
We may take reasonable steps to work with reputable vendors and service providers. However, no screening process can guarantee that every independent individual or organisation will always act lawfully or honestly. Accordingly, subject to applicable law, the Company does not guarantee: the future conduct of an independent vendor; the personal conduct of a pickup worker; the accuracy of every third-party statement; the uninterrupted availability of a third-party service; the security of a third-party platform; or the actions of persons outside the Company’s direct control. Where legally appropriate, we may investigate credible complaints and take action available to us.
No Waiver of Mandatory Legal Rights
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to: remove statutory consumer rights; exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded; prevent a lawful complaint; restrict access to a competent authority; override mandatory data-protection rights; or contract out of applicable law. Any limitation or exclusion contained in our policies should be interpreted only to the extent legally permitted.
Limitation of Responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company will not be responsible for losses arising solely from: false information supplied by a customer; false information supplied by a vendor; unauthorised conduct of an independent third party; fraud committed independently by a customer or vendor; customer failure to follow safety instructions; customer failure to disclose material site conditions; third-party platform failures; events beyond reasonable control; unauthorised access caused by the customer’s own credentials or actions; or transactions conducted outside the Company’s authorised systems. This provision does not exclude responsibility imposed on the Company by mandatory law.
Indemnification Where Legally Permitted
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a person who knowingly provides false information, commits fraud, misuses the Platform, infringes another person’s rights or uses the services for unlawful purposes may be responsible for losses, claims, costs or expenses caused by that person’s unlawful conduct. Any indemnification provision is subject to applicable law and does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
Complaints and Disputes
Customers and vendors should first contact us with complete information regarding a dispute. A complaint should include: name; contact number; booking/reference number; date; location; description of the issue; relevant photographs; transaction reference, where applicable; and supporting evidence. We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to investigate the complaint.
False or Malicious Complaints
We respect genuine complaints and will review them seriously. However, knowingly submitting fabricated evidence, false allegations, manipulated photographs, fraudulent payment records or deliberately misleading information may result in appropriate action. Where permitted by law, we may retain relevant evidence and take appropriate steps to protect our business, customers, vendors and reputation. Nothing in this clause restricts a person’s lawful right to raise a genuine complaint or seek legal remedies.
Vendor Compliance
Vendors and service providers working with or through the Platform may be required to comply with applicable: laws; safety requirements; privacy requirements; contractual obligations; customer communication standards; anti-fraud requirements; documentation requirements; and operational policies. Failure to comply may result in suspension, termination or other contractual action where applicable.
Customer Compliance
Customers using the Platform agree to provide truthful information and use the service lawfully. Customers must not use the Website to: sell stolen property; facilitate fraud; impersonate another person; submit fake payment evidence; manipulate transactions; harass staff or vendors; upload unlawful content; attack or compromise the Website; obtain unauthorised access; or conduct any unlawful activity.
Cybersecurity and Website Misuse
Attempts to: hack; scrape unlawfully; introduce malicious code; circumvent security; access restricted systems; manipulate Website data; attack servers; abuse APIs; create automated fraudulent requests; or interfere with Website operations may be investigated and, where appropriate, reported to relevant authorities or acted upon through lawful remedies. Technical information may be retained for security and investigation purposes subject to applicable law.
Data Breaches and Security Incidents
If we become aware of a personal-data breach or security incident requiring action under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Depending on the circumstances, this may include: investigating the incident; containing the issue; restoring affected systems; preserving evidence; notifying affected persons where legally required; notifying regulators or authorities where required; and taking corrective measures. We do not guarantee that security incidents can never occur.
Data Retention for Legal Protection
Information may sometimes need to be retained beyond the normal service period where reasonably necessary for: legal compliance; tax or accounting requirements; fraud investigations; security investigations; dispute resolution; contract enforcement; audit; insurance; law-enforcement requests; or establishing or defending legal claims. Once retention is no longer reasonably necessary, information may be deleted, anonymised or securely disposed of subject to applicable law.
Legal Requests and Authorities
We may disclose relevant information where required or permitted by law, including in response to: court orders; government directions; law-enforcement requests; regulatory requests; tax authorities; investigations; legal proceedings; or other lawful processes. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect people, property, systems or legal rights, subject to applicable law.
Privacy Rights Remain Protected
The protections and limitations in this Policy do not remove rights granted to individuals under applicable data-protection law. Where the Digital Personal Data Protection framework applies, requests concerning access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent or grievance redressal will be handled according to the applicable legal requirements and procedures. The DPDP Act establishes rights for Data Principals and obligations for Data Fiduciaries, while the 2025 Rules provide the operational framework.
Applicable Law
This Policy is intended to operate subject to applicable laws of India. Depending on the nature of the service and transaction, applicable legal frameworks may include: Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025; Information Technology legislation and applicable rules; Consumer Protection Act, 2019; Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, where applicable; contract law; tax and accounting requirements; applicable environmental or waste-management requirements; and other laws and regulations applicable to the particular transaction or service. Legal requirements can change. The Company may update its policies when required.
Policy Interpretation
If any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law. Where a provision conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail. No provision should be interpreted as granting the Company protection beyond what is legally permitted.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect: changes in law; regulatory developments; new services; new technology; new vendors; changes in Website functionality; security improvements; business restructuring; or changes in our data-processing practices. The updated version will be published on the Website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will follow the applicable requirement.
